  1. SH 19:2-3

    Love and 3Truth are not at war with God’s image and likeness.

  2. SH 467:9-13

    It should be thoroughly understood that all men have one Mind, one God and Father, one Life, Truth, and Love. Mankind will become perfect in proportion as this fact 12becomes apparent, war will cease and the true brother-hood of man will be established.

  3. SH 276:4

    When the divine precepts are understood, they unfold the foundation of fellowship, 6in which one mind is not at war with another, but all have one Spirit, God, one intelligent source, in accordance with the Scriptural command: “Let this Mind be in you, 9which was also in Christ Jesus.” Man and his Maker are correlated in divine Science, and real consciousness is cognizant only of the things of God.

  4. SH 231:12

        If God makes sin, if good produces evil, if truth results in error, then Science and Christianity are helpless; but there are no antagonistic powers nor laws, spiritual or 15material, creating and governing man through perpetual warfare. God is not the author of mortal discords. Therefore we accept the conclusion that discords have 18only a fabulous existence, are mortal beliefs which divine Truth and Love destroy.

        The suppositional warfare between truth and error is only the mental conflict between the evidence of the spir-The great conflictitual senses and the testimony of the material 6senses, and this warfare between the Spirit and flesh will settle all questions through faith in and the un-derstanding of divine Love.

        Who that has felt the loss of human peace has not gained 24stronger desires for spiritual joy?

    Spiritual living and blessedness are the only evidences, by which we can recognize true existence and feel the unspeakable peace 27which comes from an all-absorbing spiritual love.

        Human resistance to divine Science weakens in pro-330330:1portion as mortals give up error for Truth and the un-derstanding of being supersedes mere belief. Until the 3The hopeful outlookauthor of this book learned the vastness of Christian Science, the fixedness of mortal illu-sions, and the human hatred of Truth, she cherished 6sanguine hopes that Christian Science would meet with immediate and universal acceptance.

  9. SH 506:10-12

        Through divine Science, Spirit, God, unites under-standing to eternal harmony. The calm and exalted 12Exalted thoughtthought or spiritual apprehension is at peace.

  10. SH 365:31

    The poor suf-fering heart needs its rightful nutriment, such as peace, 366 366:1patience in tribulation, and a priceless sense of the dear Father’s loving-kindness.

  11. SH 130:9

    It is unwise to doubt if reality is in perfect harmony with God, divine Principle, — if Science, when understood and demonstrated, will 12destroy all discord, — since you admit that God is om-nipotent; for from this premise it follows that good and its sweet concords have all-power.

  12. SH 151:26

    All that really exists is the divine Mind and 27its idea, and in this Mind the entire being is found har-monious and eternal. The straight and narrow way is to see and acknowledge this fact, yield to this power, and 30follow the leadings of truth.

  13. SH 251:30

    Inharmonious beliefs, which rob Mind, calling it matter, and deify their own notions, imprison themselves in what they create. 252 252:1They are at war with Science, and as our Master said, “If a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom 3cannot stand.”

  14. SH 186:17-24

        Evil is self-assertive. It says: “I am a real entity, over-18mastering good.” This falsehood should strip evil of all pretensions. The only power of evil is to destroy itself. It can never destroy one iota of good. Every attempt of evil 21to destroy good is a failure, and only aids in peremptorily punishing the evil-doer. If we concede the same reality to discord as to harmony, discord has as lasting a claim upon 24us as has harmony.

    Discord can never establish the facts of harmony.

    Only the action of Truth, Life, and Love can give harmony.

    Let discord of every name and nature 12be heard no more, and let the harmonious and true sense of Life and being take possession of human consciousness.

    Is there no divine permission to conquer discord of every kind with harmony, 27with Truth and Love?

    The Scripture declares, “The Lord He is God [good]; there is none else beside Him.” Even so, harmony is universal, and discord is unreal.

    When the final physical and moral effects of Christian Science are fully apprehended, the conflict between truth 12and error, understanding and belief, Science and material sense, foreshadowed by the prophets and inaugurated by Jesus, will cease, and spiritual harmony reign.

    Let us learn 21of the real and eternal, and prepare for the reign of Spirit, the kingdom of heaven, — the reign and rule of universal harmony, which cannot be lost nor remain 24forever unseen.
